Isn't that the truth, Lavana - in and out of the shadows. Thanks for commenting.Warren
A lovely visual with more than one layer of meaning.Adelaide
Thanks Adelaide - This one went through so much workshopping in AHAPoetry, so many suggestions for changes, that I finally went back to my original and stuck with it. Thank you for connecting with it.Warren

That's a fantastic haiku, Bill - I am totally jealous. This is why I consider you a mentor, a standard for me. Thanks.Warren

Thanks, Doug - I always appreciate your comments.Hi Gillena - Thanks very much for coming in on this one and for your comments.Hi Polona - As always, your comments are insightful and welcomed.Warren
About workshopping...sometimes it's better to go with your initial instinct. Often the suggestions, although they may be good ones, result in an entirely different poem, not what you intend, but what someone else intends. Glad you stuck with your original.Adelaide
Hi Adelaide - You are right about suggestions often pulling a person away from their original intent, and toward someone else's idea of what it should be. Thanks!Warren
