An unusual but very effective combination of images, Warren...

Powerful and believable.

Amusing...but maybe not to you.

Thanks, Frank - hopefully I didn't go overboard with my haiku. I wanted the image to be fairly subtle but still convey my emotions at the time.

Hi Warren,

I left a comment for this a few days ago, but apparently it didn't connect.

This is actually funny, but probably not to you. A good senryu. Do you get Modern Haiku? The latest issue has three interesting essays on senryu.

Hi Adelaide - I don't think I got your earlier comment but I may have missed it. I'm not lanquishing in sorrow (now) over my divorce - been married 25 years to a wonderful woman, so God has His way of working things out in the lives of His foolish children. I'll check out Modern Haiku - thanks!
