Beautiful, Warren, both painting and haiku.

We are bracing for a big storm, here. I would love to be inside your painting.

Hi Adelaide - Thanks for your special comments - what you have to say always means a lot to me and I appreciate you. Yes, today we're getting some snow, but not supposed to be over two inches. I'm ready for spring - spring has always been my favorite season, for as long as I have memory.

An elegant painting and haiku, Warren. I understand that the aspen in a grove are all joined at the root, making it one organism?...

Hi Gabriele - No, they're quaking aspen - aspen trunks are light in color and depending on the time of day, time of year, etc. they can appear quite light. I've been observing and painting aspen for many years.
