indefinable surge

A fiber, a strand
of something bright, clear
and sweet rushes
through me each time
you touch me, each time
I dare to think that you
might love me as I love you -
the most wonderful
yet indefinable surge
which enlivens each cell
of this aging body.

That magical, wonderful, amazing rush of love is not limited to the young, is it Warren? Aging doesn't diminish love.

Wonderfully expressed.

Thank goodness that aging doesn't diminish love, Adelaide - life would be meaningless otherwise, wouldn't it. Thanks for commenting, my friend.
